there you can set input from Steam 1 and output to TC Near ASIO. Then you'll run application called EffectRack. You'll set for example first one as default playback device in Windows. After its installation, you'll find 4 WDM I/O devices at your system called Stream 1-4. This is selfcontained VST host with its own virtual WDM drivers. Mentioned DDMF Virtual Audio Stream - DDMF virtual audio stream set its audio driver to ASIO TC Near and select SPDIF as audio input source, output to MAIN or whatever you're using. Then you will open some VST hosting application like SaviHost. Idea behind that is, you'll setup WDM drivers in a way, that default pair will be routed for example to SPDIF output, then you'll loop that physical output back to input at Impact Twin using short digital cable. For example using SPDIF or TosLink cable. In case of Impact Twin I don't think, there is anything like that at its TC Near software. I've asked, because sometimes soundcard drivers and mixer provides features for doing such routing between application, it's usually called software loopback. I have TC Electronic's Impact Twin as a soundcard. What exact audio interface(s) you're using? Like Reaper for example has its own ReaRoute ASIO driver. Similarly some DAWs provides mechanism for inter application audio routing. There are also some additional programs for doing that by VB-Software or O Deus, but its use always adds some latency on top of whats necessary for running of such room correction plugins. For example RME TotalMix can do such things like routing between ASIO and WDM/MME interfaces. So it largely depends on capabilities of your audio interface driver. Generally normal programs uses WDM/MME standard for audio interface access and DAWs use ASIO. You'll need to route audio from other applications to VST host application (DAW, SaviHost etc.). I tried a software called SAVIhost - I managed to load the VST but nothing happens, doesn't matter how i change the input\output.Ĭan anyone help?As mentioned in the previous post. I want everything to run through this VST. To those who don't know, this is a VST that changes the sound coming out of your DAW in a way that it improves your acoustics (after measuring).Īnyways, I need this VST to be set on all the sounds I hear, whether it is from my Windows Media Player or Winamp or whatever I'm running.
